Day 162

Day 162:   I have gratitude for Aunt Sylvia and the huge impact she had on so many lives.  Today, she passed from this life into the next.  I was fortunate enough to have known her for more than six years.  She had a personality that would allow anyone with whom she was engaged to feel at home — like they were talking to a loving grandmother.  She embodied hospitality, and had a unique way of carrying herself, straddling Old World tradition and modern relevance.  If a person’s time on Earth could be measured by the number of people they blessed and the depth of such blessings, Aunt Syl would be near the top of the list, without question.  We are comforted in knowing that she is reunited with loved ones in Eternal Peace.
